This prestigious new build at St Ives on Sydney’s Upper North Shore involved plastering across a 300 sqm ceiling space and 700 sqm of wall area. The project featured suspended ceilings throughout, custom designed bulkheads, and integrated lighting systems, all executed with meticulous attention to detail.

For this high end residential project, we undertook the following key tasks:
The team began by evaluating the site and assessing the architectural requirements, including the integration of suspended ceilings, recessed lighting, and concealed spaces for air conditioning and plumbing. We ensured every detail was planned for optimal execution.
The entire project was finished to Level 5 standards – the highest quality in the industry. All walls and ceilings were meticulously prepared to ensure no imperfections were visible under both natural and artificial lighting. To achieve this, we applied 13mm plasterboard to cover the dincel concrete walls and fibre cement sheeting in bathroom areas in preparation for tiling.
A key feature of this project was the creation of suspended ceilings and bulkheads. These were strategically installed in bathrooms and utility rooms to conceal air conditioning units, extractor fans, and plumbing. Custom blind pelmets were installed on all windows, with a squared set perimeter to provide a seamless finish. The ceilings were finished with a P-50 (10mm) shadowline at the ceiling to wall junction, enhancing the modern aesthetic and creating a crisp, clean line throughout the space.
To achieve the client's vision of clean, modern aesthetics, we integrated recessed downlights into the ceilings, ensuring a seamless look with no visible light fittings. Our team was responsible for building out hidden cavities to accommodate the lighting systems.
After completing the plastering and lighting installations, we conducted a thorough final inspection to ensure all aspects of the work were in perfect condition. We cleared all debris and ensured that the site was left spotless, with all electrical components and fixtures properly secured.
